How email delivery works
Newsletters go out from your handle at mail.usepub.com, with your publication's name as the sender and replies going wherever you set. The domain is authenticated (DKIM, SPF alignment, DMARC), which is most of what inbox providers look for.
Who gets email
Only people who confirmed. Sign-ups click a link before anything else is sent; imported addresses get the same link. An address that bounces hard, or whose owner marks a newsletter as spam, is never emailed again by anyone on Pub.
Unsubscribing
Every newsletter has a one-click unsubscribe that mail apps can show as a button, plus a link in the footer. It takes effect immediately.
What we don't do
No open tracking and no click tracking. Your Stats page shows who subscribed and what was sent, delivered, bounced or marked as spam, which is what you can act on.
Sending speed
Big sends go out over a few minutes rather than all at once; that's normal and helps delivery.
